Shipping Policy

We’re a tiny team of two crafting each order with care. While we often ship out sooner, please allow up to 7 business days for us to process and prepare your order—especially if it’s made-to-order or brewed under moonlight 🌝 📦.

Estimated Delivery (After Shipping)

  • U.S. Orders: Typically arrive 3–7 business days after shipping, depending on your location.
  • International Orders: Usually take 2–6 weeks, with possible delays due to customs or shipping quirks.

International Shipping & Customs

We ship to most countries! If your country is not listed at checkout, send us an email at sia@folkandfireshop.com, and we’ll see if we can ship to you.

  • Customs fees, duties, and taxes are determined by your country and are your responsibility. Unfortunately, we don’t have control over these fees.

Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages

All priority shipping options come with $50 of insurance. If you’d like to increase your insurance coverage to match your order’s full value, email us at sia@folkandfireshop.com before your order ships.

  • We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged orders once they leave our hands and are with USPS/FedEx/UPS. If your package is missing, please file a claim directly with the shipping carrier.

Combined Shipping

Unfortunately, we cannot offer combined shipping on multiple orders. Each order is processed separately, and by placing more than one order, you agree to receive separate shipments.

Refund Policy

Refund & Return Policy

Because our offerings are crafted in small, intentional batches—often made fresh for you—we do not accept returnsfor hygiene and safety reasons. Thank you for honoring the nature of handmade medicine.

That said, if we’ve made an error or something arrives damaged, we’ll always do our best to make it right 💛

📬 Eligibility for Refunds

If your order is:

  • Damaged,
  • Defective, or
  • Incorrect (whoops!)—

Please email us at sia@folkandfireshop.com within 5 days of receiving your order.

Include:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos of the issue

We’ll assess the situation and offer a solution. If approved, we’ll either issue a refund or send a replacement at no cost to you.

📚 Educational Offerings

Due to the digital and seasonal nature of our workshops, courses, and apprenticeship programs, refunds for educational offerings are approved on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out to us if you have questions—we’re human, and we know life can shift unexpectedly.

❌ Non-Refundable Situations

We cannot offer refunds for:

  • Reactions, irritation, or sensitivities to any product
  • Incompatibility with personal health conditions or contraindications
  • Orders lost, stolen, or damaged after leaving our hands (please see our Shipping Policy for insurance and delivery details)
  • Ingredients that are not allowed in your country

🛍️ A Note on Intentional Shopping

We do our best to list full ingredients and detailed descriptions for every offering. If you’re unsure about something, feel free to email us—we’d rather answer your questions than have you order something that isn’t the right fit.

And as always, consult your healthcare provider if you’re pregnant, nursing, taking medications, or navigating chronic conditions. Patch testing is always encouraged for new topical products.

✨ Disclaimer

Our products are offered in the spirit of tradition, earth-based care, and personal ritual. We make no medical claimsregarding their ability to treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition.

On Sourcing Our Ingredients

All plant material is either ethically wildcraftedgrown in our own garden, or sourced from small organic farms we trust. Ingredient origins are listed on each product page.

🍯 What kind of honey and beeswax do you use?

We source raw, unfiltered, unheated honey and golden bricks of beeswax from small beekeepers in Washington, Oregon and Idaho.

💧What kind of water is used?

We currently use distilled water, and are beginning to work with tested artisanal well water from Shoreline, WA.

🥃 What kind of alcohol is used in tinctures?

It varies by tincture—always organic, local when possible, and chosen to best match the plant’s spirit. Often it’s organic cane alcohol from Oregon, or vodka from Iceland. Sometimes it’s something special like apple brandy or small-batch whiskey. The exact alcohol is listed on each product.

🌻 What about oils?

All oils are organic, cold-pressed, and non-GMO—sourced from trusted co-ops and suppliers. We use different oils based on the product (sunflower, jojoba, olive, etc.).

🌼 Do you use essential oils or hydrosols?

Yes, selectively. Some of our perfume blends have essential oils in them, but our salves and facial care products never do. Our essential oils and hydrosols come from:

  • Local small-batch distillers using Oregon Tilth certified organic plants, or
  • Farms we personally know who use organic practices (even if not certified yet)

Only the best-smelling, highest integrity stuff makes it in.
